THC Syrup | What is it?
In the weird and often wonderful world of cannabis, sometimes you can be surprised by the genius of some people. Recently, we came across a growing trend of putting THC Syrup on porridge in the morning, both for medical use and recreational.
What is THC Syrup?
Well, THC Syrup isn’t as complicated as you may think. It is simply Syrup (often Maple Syrup) that has been infused with the cannabinoid THC. It means that you can get high when sweetening your coffee, or your pancakes. Whether you use it in the morning, or the evening, is completely up to you. But we think it is a great way to enjoy cannabis if you have a sweet tooth.
The benefit of THC Syrup is that you can bake with it, add it to a drink or chug in from the bottle.
We found that some cannabis-infused Syrups simply just taste like Syrup and have clearly been infused with a THC distillate or Isolate, and there are some more rough products with little bits of cannabis floating about, and others that taste very terpy indeed. The combination of Syrup and terpenes is to die for (depending on the strain).
How is THC Lean Syrup Made?
This is very easy. If you wanted to make your own Syrup at home, all you need is a pan, some good quality maple syrup (the really runny kind) and some decarboxylated cannabis flower or concentrate extract. Warm up the Syrup gently and stir in the cannabis extract until it is completely dissolved/ the buds are soft and have broken up. This can take anywhere between 15 minutes and 2 hours.
