Vecticanna - a cannabis research facility based on the Isle of Wight
We always want to highlight interesting developments in the world of cannabis for our readers, so when we heard about Vecticanna we knew it would be worth sharing with our audience.
As a medicinal cannabis research and development company, Vecticanna want to unlock the potential of cannabinoids and full-spectrum cannabis extracts for conditions such as Fibromyalgia. By studying and proving the benefits of these compounds for purposes such as Fibromyalgia, Vecticanna hope to increase awareness and ultimately increase the availability of these compounds for patients and end consumers.
Adam, the CEO, was driven to work within this sector due to the impact that Fibromyalgia has had in his personal life. It's great to see such passion behind Vecticanna.
It's also great to see Vecticanna working alongside some great organisations - for example, The Future Clinic (a Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain clinic also based on the Isle of Wight) have endorsed what Vecticanna are doing and hope to eventually make use of the research that Vecticanna uncovers.
Overall this is a really exciting project not just for the Isle of Wight, but for the entire UK.
