‘Rolling Papers’ is a 2015 documentary which is currently streaming in Netflix (USA). It follows journalists from The Denver Post who write stories about recreational marijuana after it becomes legal in Colorado. Specifically the documentary follows Ricardo Baca, a journalist who landed the first ever job as marijuana editor at The Denver Post, and started “The Cannabist” column for the paper.
We love this documentary and find it to be an interesting watch if you’re interested in the mainstream attitude towards cannabis. A lot has changed in the years since the documentary was made, but much of what is discussed and highlighted in the documentary is still very relevant.
This documentary also introduced us to the song ‘Bring Them Down’ which is fantastic.
