Popped.NYC is a cannabis company based in New York. These gals have a pretty considerable online following, which definitely piqued our interest, so we thought it would be worth conducting a review. As always we’ll be taking a look at their products, customer service and reviews to see if they’re worth your time. Let’s get into it:

 

Who are Popped.NYC?

 

Popped.NYC was founded by Lauren, and actually there is an awesome ‘About Us’ page on the website that explains the full backstory. But for the sake of this review, we’ll give an overview. Lauren was feeling overwhelmed with life, and found that CBD helped her feel better (alongside a variety of lifestyle changes). Feeling the benefits of CBD herself and seeing how it could help others, Lauren decided to set up Popped.NYC. The focus would be on connecting people with CBD products that could help make a positive change in their lives.

 

Since then the company has grown considerably, and now there is a small team managing the brand. This is an awesome backstory and we love to see all this information.

 

What are the Popped.NYC products like?

 

The Popped.NYC product range consists entirely of own brand products, and is a really interesting mix of products that we don’t see too often. For example, there are bath bombs, body butter, rollerballs and patches. All interesting products, but let’s start with the oils as that’s what we would typically use.

 
Popped.NYC have 2 oils, available in either a 1000mg or 500mg variety. Each oil is flavoured with natural peppermint oil to provide a lovely minty flavour rather than the usual bitter hemp flavour. These oils also use MCT as a carrier oil, which is great as MCT is also full of natural goodness. These are isolate oils so they contain absolutely no THC, ideal for anyone who is tested regularly, plus they’re lab-tested to prove this.
 

The oils are awesome, but we’re also really interested in the body butter. There is lots of evidence to suggest that CBD can effectively be absorbed by the skin, so it’s awesome to see that Popped.NYC have body butter on their website (choose from either 500mg or 1000mg).

 

We’d recommend you explore the rest of the product range yourself, but overall we’re really impressed.

 
 

What are the Popped.NYC reviews like?

 

Popped.NYC collect customer reviews in a few places, including the popular third-party review platform Yotpo. We don’t see enough CBD companies using third-party review platforms for collecting reviews, so this is awesome to see. They’re currently sitting with a perfect 5 star rating from 35 reviews. Overall people seem really happy with the products and the customer service provided by Popped.NYC. It’s also nice to see someone from the team replying to the reviews personally.
