Caroline and Georgina are the founders of Papilio, 2 cousins who both discovered CBD after dealing with personal issues. What we like about the Papilio product range is that they haven't tried to cram as many products as possible onto their website - they've focused on a small number of products, which ensures better quality. You'll not find CBD chewing gum here. We find this approach really refreshing and would like to see more companies following suit.
Papilio stock 3 different CBD oils and a CBD tiger balm/ CBD muscle rub. We'll start with the CBD oils as that is the product we'd most typically use on a daily basis.
Each CBD oil sold by Papilio has been formulated for a specific purpose, and they've all been named according to their purpose - Balance, Refresh and Relax. The Papilio team has included other natural compounds alongside the CBD to help enhance the benefits of the products. For example, the Balance oil is made with the Pinene terpene, a terpene that is known to have anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory properties. Similarly the Relax oil is boosted with Linalool and the Refresh oil is boosted with Limonene.
Each CBD oil is made with MCT (great for absorption) and is broad-spectrum, which means they are THC-free but still packed with lots of plant goodness.
Lastly the tiger balm contains an impressive 500mg of CBD, which is a great concentration for a topical product. What we like about the tiger balm is how the gentle heat of the balm and the CBD work in harmony - the heat helping to relax the muscles, and the CBD helping them to recover. Similar to the oils, the balm has been boosted with compounds like menthol and terpenes like Linalool for additional benefits.
