OTO (Our Honest Review)

OTO are a CBD skincare company based in London, UK. We first heard about OTO after seeing them featured in a number of publications (including Vogue), so we thought we’d check them out and write a review of them. As always we’ll be taking a look at their products, customer service and reviews to see if they’re worth your time. Let’s get into the review:

What are the OTO products like?

The OTO product range consists of CBD oils. skincare products, drinks and even CBD products to help you sleep. Most of the coverage these guys seem to have had relates to either their sleep products or their beauty products, and this is definitely what they’re best known for.

We do have to admit, we’re not experts on what makes a beauty product good. But we do know how to spot a good CBD product, and I’d definitely say that the OTO beauty products look good. Their serum contains 750mg of CBD per bottle. We think this is isolate (it isn’t mentioned) which is fine to be using for your skin. We like the fact that OTO mention the various benefits that CBD can offer skin, and we’re excited to see more testing conducted around this. The full beauty range consists of 10 different CBD products, so check it out.

We’re less excited about the CBD oils offered by OTO. Instead of offering their oil within a bottle or syringe, OTO have created an oil roll-on, designed to be applied to the wrists. There is lots of research to confirm that CBD can be effectively absorbed by the skin when applied topically, but nothing beats consuming CBD oil sublingually for optimal absorption. The roll-on is a neat idea, but ultimately we’re a little confused by it and it almost feels like a gimmick. Furthermore, we couldn’t find any lab reports on the product pages, nor do we have any idea whether this is an isolate, broad-spectrum or full-spectrum CBD product. This is a shame as I’m sure OTO have this information available, they’ve just chosen not to publish it.

Luckily the drinks range saves the day, as it’s pretty awesome. They’ve got a range of CBD shots, with each shot containing 50mg of CBD (a pretty substantial dose!). We like the look of these a lot and think it’s a great idea.

Overall this is a pretty interesting and varied product range, with some highs and lows. But overall it’s worth checking out we’d say.

What are the OTO reviews like?

OTO don’t appear to be on any well-known third-party platforms like Trustpilot or Feefo as far as we can see, which is a shame. We always prefer companies to use these platforms as reviewers must be verified customers, so you can ensure the information is accurate. Luckily they do have some reviews on Facebook and Google, and on both platforms, they’re currently sitting with a 5-star rating. Overall customers seem happy with the products as well as the customer service provided by OTO.

In Conclusion

OTO have great branding and have clearly developed a loyal following, and although we think their beauty CBD range is great, we feel they should rethink their range of CBD oils. Still, check them out and let us know what you think.
