You've probably heard of the Jacob Hooy brand sold by the popular high street retailer Holland and Barrett. We've reviewed them in-depth on our blog elsewhere, but we wanted to take a look at one of their products in detail - the hemp tea. This is the cheapest product in the Jacob Hooy product range and probably a product that lots of people try when they see it on the shelves of H&B. We wanted to review it for this reason, let's get into it:

What are the positives of the Jacob Hooy hemp tea?

The big positive for us is the taste of the Jacob Hooy hemp tea. It's definitely not the best CBD tea we've tried (we'd give that award to Hope CBD), but it definitely isn't bad and is really quite nice. The taste isn't strong but you can taste the hemp, which we enjoy. It also brews really well and evenly, not taking too long to extract the flavour from the bag.
We also like the addition of the tag to the bag (not sure what the name of that is), which makes it easy to get the bag out of the cup. A nice little touch!

What are the negatives of the Jacob Hooy hemp tea?

Our big problem with the Jacob Hooy hemp tea is that there is very little information about the product on the box. We've included a screenshot of the back of the box which only includes some directions on how to use the product (not exactly rocket science) and no information about what the product is made of or what benefit it will provide you with. This is a shame as we've recently tried CBD tea from brands like Hempura where the boxes are packed with useful information. 
We'd love to see more information provided with this product, as it would be especially useful for beginners.

The tea is currently sitting with a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from more than 50 reviews, a good score. We'd expect to see more than 50 reviews for this product, but we're glad to see that the product has a good rating. Check these reviews out for yourself on the H&B website. 

In Conclusion

So to conclude, we're not blown away by this product but we do think it's good for beginners and for people who want to enjoy hemp in the evenings.
