Hemp Elf has been around for a long time now, and they are seemingly part of a family of brands under the umbrella of The Goods.

The Goods are already well known for their dabs, vapes and lifestyle products, and Hemp Elf seems to be the functional arm of the recreational market. Mostly, Hemp Elf sell CBD flowers and products that the goods cannot sell on their conventional website, or in a retail environment.

Seeing as though the brand is best known for it's flower products, we thought we would do a full review of them.

What are the HempElf products like?

CBD Oils

As we mentioned, HempElf sell CBD products from a variety of brands in the UK and USA. The most well-known brands on their site include folks like CBDistillery and KannaSwiss.

It's the oils we're most interested in, and HempElf seems to have a pretty good range. Their main brand here is EQL which is a range of broad-spectrum oils with a range of flavours and strengths. This is a brand under the Winchester MD umbrella (The Goods are too) - alongside CBDrive (another Winchester Brand).

CBD Flower

While hemp elf do stock an enormous range of cannabis-inspired vapes, dabs and other products, they are best known for their range of Hemp Flower.

They've also got a pretty large range of strain flowers which are produced in the EU.

The flowers are produced using Industrial hemp which is (as far as we can see) washed and then sprayed with terpenes to give them each their unique strain flavours.

The flower is sold on the website as tea and is 100% approved EU hemp. So as legal as it gets.

We did a trial of the flower and have to say that we didn't like what we got. We know that Hemp Elf gets rave reviews for its flower but we must have gotten a bad batch.

When you open up the bag you are overwhelmed with terpenes and the smell is great. It smelled like opening a bag of real Gelato. When the buds came out they were quite small and pressed up.

To smoke we thought you could taste the bitterness of sprayed terpenes, which is not unusual for imitation hemp flowers. In fairness, it was much better than other flowers we had tried, but certainly not the best.

Below we compared another competitor, and to ensure fairness to Hemp Elf we haven't enclosed who the brand is. We can say the hemp is swiss.

The issue is how legal the competitor's product actually is. While Hemp Elf uses legal industrial hemp, the second flower was very similar to a real cannabis strain and even had large trichomes. It could have been a harlequin strain that is washed with terpenes for extra flavour.

It may be a different product and a completely different strain. So for that reason, we didn't want to make a direct comparison. It would be like comparing hemp with cannabis!

Edibles

HempElf does have their own brand of edibles - vegan gummies with 10mg of CBD per sweet. These honestly look pretty awesome and are very well priced.

What are the HempElf reviews like?

HempElf use Trustpilot to collect reviews, which is our preferred platform. They're currently sitting with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from over 1700 reviews. This might be the best rating we've ever seen on Trustpilot, so suffice to say we're impressed. Most reviewers mention the quality of the customer service and the range of products on offer. Even when someone has given a 1 star rating, it's really nice to see a member of the HempElf team replying to the review personally. Overall we're super impressed with this. HempElf sell CBD oils, patches, edibles & creams which all have great write-ups.

What does Reddit think of HempElf?

We like to check Reddit when reviewing CBD brands like HempElf, especially companies that sell CBD flower, because there are loads of CBD enthusiasts on Reddit. We found loads of threads about HempElf on Reddit, most of which were very positive. People love the choice of products as well as the service provided by the company. We've included a screenshot of one of these threads above.

In Conclusion

It seems odd that we hadn't heard much about these guys before conducting this review, because they've clearly got a massive following. Clearly, their popularity can't be denied and we hope to continue seeing HempElf crush it.
