Ghost Train Haze Strain

Strain | Hybrid

Cannabinoids | THC 25%+) | CBD (<1%)

Terpenes | Herbal, Peppery and Citrusy

Don’t be put off by the name because Ghost Train Haze is a legendary Sativa which is loved right across the world. Although this strain is potent enough to take you on a white knuckle right through your own thoughts, its name comes from the fact that it is a cross between Neville’s Wreck and Ghost OG.

The Ghost Train Haze not only has huge popularity on the internet, but it also won the 2014 High Times Cannabis cup after placing second in 2013 Cannabis Medical Cup for a Sativa. If you like your cannabis strong, it is also an annual winner of the High Times Strongest Strains. Although the THC level is sitting at 25% (not unusual for other strains) the stain has a reputation for being a potent mistress. The flavour is said to be sweet and herbal, with smooth spicey citrus note shining through on the exhale which, like OG Kush, has a lingering funk. Make sure you have a tanker of Febreze before inviting your parents over.

The buds themselves are thickly frosted with trichomes with little orange hairs poking out from a dense green landscape. Much like the Iced Cream Cake Strain, it has a very Christmassy feel to it. Its effects are certainly more mardi gras.

Ghost Train Haze is one of the few strains which blend the stronger effects of both the Sativa and Indica together; meaning that the heady rush is almost psychedelic in its euphoria and heavy in the body. Even for some experienced users, this stain is known for being somewhat of a wild ride between uplifting euphoria and a relaxed good old daze. The strain is considered by many as being one of the strongest strains on death, so if you’re a new user then it may be worth avoiding this strain while building up a tolerance. It can be imagined that the untrained user may indeed go on a little bit of a Ghost Train ride themselves. So be warned.

In small doses, however, the stain may be enjoyable for a relaxed yet active day.

The Ghost Train Haze also has a good range of medical applications, for those who suffer from a range of medical issues. Whether it is mental or physical. Some symptoms which are noted online are those who suffer from pain, lack of appetite, depression, PTSD, Glaucoma, ADD and ADHD.
