George Botanicals are a UK based CBD company. They're a small team but a big name in the CBD industry, and actually something which immediately impressed us about George Botanicals is the comprehensive 'About' section on their website. Showing actual pictures of people on your website is practically unheard of in our industry.
These guys are doing something interesting, so we thought it would be worth conducting a review to see what all the fuss is about. We'll be taking a look at the George Botanicals:
So let's get into it:
Who are George Botanicals?
We mentioned in our introduction that George Botanicals have a pretty extensive 'About' section on their website, and we love to see this. We write so many reviews for CBD companies where there is no background information provided, so it's great to see some faces. It's clear from looking at the 'About' section of the website that there is a good mix of business people and scientific people behind this brand. Take a look at the George Botanicals website if you want more information.
What are the George Botanicals CBD products like?
George Botanicals sell CBD oils (flavoured and non flavoured), capsules, edibles and massage oils. Their oils look pretty good - lab reports and plenty of information can be found on the product pages. The 10% oil from George Botanicals is listed as 'brand spectrum', but we guess they mean broad spectrum. This just means there is no significant amount of THC in the oil, which means users who consume the oil won't benefit from the entourage effect. For some people that's fine, usually we prefer full spectrum CBD products.
The flavoured CBD oils are available in some interesting flavours like black forest gateau and peppermint. The flavoured oils use MCT as the carrier oil, whereas the non flavoured oils use olive oil. Interestingly the flavoured oils are listed as full spectrum, and yep - the lab reports confirm that. Typically you'd expect the non-flavoured oils to be full spectrum, but we appreciate it nonetheless.
The George Botanicals capsules are listed as full spectrum too, but sadly the lab report page appears to have been deleted so we cannot confirm this. Having said that, if these capsules are full spectrum it would make for a seriously impressive product. The capsules are hand-pressed, vegan and gluten free - if they're full spectrum too they'll tick every box.
What are the reviews like for George Botanicals?
George Botanicals use Reviews.co.uk to collect reviews, which is a fairly popular platform here in the UK. They're currently sitting with a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from over 200 reviews, a pretty great score. But actually we would have expected George Botanicals to have a few more reviews than that considering how popular they are. Almost all of the reviewers mention the quality of the customer service and the speed of delivery, and a number of reviewers seem delighted with the quality of the flavoured oils.
George Botanicals are a great choice if you're looking for a lower strength flavoured CBD oil. The fact that they sell a full spectrum oil should definitely be celebrated, and we hope they continue to do well.
