Forbidden Fruit Weed Information

The most forbidden of Fruits surely has to be the cannabis plant. Did eve munch that apple because she was high as hell and had the munchies? Maybe.

W’ll what we do know is that the Forbidden Fruit strain is a brilliant cross between Cherry Pie and Tangie. Two very fruity strains indeed. Forbidden Fruit is a 70% Indica hybrid which has a brilliant flavours that may even come close to beating the famous Zkittlez

What does Forbidden Fruit look like?

Much like the flavour, the buds are unique. Unlike most Indica strains, the buds can be particularly fluffy with light purple leaves and long thick orange hairs. The bud does look a bit like a fruit and leaves your mouthwatering with the aroma that radiates from the packet.

It is not unusual for the strain to look somewhat purple. The Forbidden Fruit strains that we have seen in the UK tend to be that way, more often than what comes across from warmer climates. The reason for the purple colour is down to cold cultivation – it is a chemical reaction. The colour doesn’t impact the effects of the strain, but it does make the strain a thing of beauty.

Flavour & Aromas

The flavours you should expect are similar to Cherry Pie’s musky, sweet and sour vibes, with huge overtones of Tangie’s tropical cocktail. There are elements of pine, sour passion fruit sweet mango and tangerine.

Forbidden fruit does have a peppery bite to it, which can catch the back of your throat. It can easily be compared to zkittlez. The peppery kick does elevate the flavours of the fruit – which makes this strain particularly delicious.

The Forbidden Fruit High

As soon as the flavours leave your lips, the Forbidden Fruit gets right to work. It is a very hard hitting strain that hits the body with a strong physical relaxation and strong heady sedation (which is surprisingly euphoric). Once you toke on this strain, you should make sure you haven’t got anything planned. The strain is ideal for those who struggle to sleep, or who wish to escape physical discomfort or anxieties.

If you like your pure heavy indica sedation then there may not be a better strain than the Forbidden Fruit.
