Floradix review (our honest thoughts)

Floradix review

Floradix (you can see their whole range here) is a brand that created an iron supplement that is very popular here in the UK. You'll find this supplement sold in health stores like Holland and Barrett, Boots and even Tesco.

We thought we would review Floradix (seeing as though we are trying other multivitamins) as we know that many people use this supplement to help with sleep and general wellbeing, similar to why they might use CBD oil. As always we'll be looking at the people behind the company, as well as the product itself and third-party reviews. We'll be looking at:

Who is Floradix?
What are the Floradix products like?
What are the Floradix reviews like?

Let's get into it:

Who is Floradix?

There is actually a great section on the Floradix website about who is behind the company - Floradix is owned by a German company called SALUS-Haus. Founded in 1916, they're a relatively small company with only around 400 employees (but still pretty big). What we love most about the brand is that they're still a family-run business (the company is currently run by the founder’s son Otto). Overall this surprised us - we assumed Floradix would be owned by a faceless corporation like many health supplement companies, but these guys have a great backstory and clearly there is a lot of passion behind this brand. If you want to learn more about the brand then you can check out their website which is full of information and even shows pictures of some of the team.

What are the Floradix products like?

Firstly we have to mention how the Floradix website is laid out - if you head to one of the category pages (for example, 'Zinc'), you'll get some information about the Floradix products which contain Zinc, but you'll also get a bunch of information about foods which are high in Zinc. Isn't that great! Floradix, a supplement company, are actually providing information about food which is high in Zinc rather than just pushing their supplements on people. Wow.

Anyway, now that we're done fawning over the Floradix website, let's get into their products, Floradix are best known for their range of liquid supplements, which consists of a variety of formulas, all of which contain a selection of vitamins and minerals. Their best selling product here in the UK would definitely be their Iron supplement, but they've also got a Vitamin B Complex liquid and a Magnesium liquid. Each liquid supplement contains a selection of herbs and several fruit juice concentrates to give a naturally pleasant taste, and we're pleased to say that none of the Floradix liquid supplements contain any alcohol, preservatives, colourings or artificial flavourings (they're also lactose-free and suitable for vegetarians). Better yet if you don't want to take a liquid supplement, then Floradix have a tablet range which contains the same product just in tablet form.

The liquid supplement range is well known for being great, but did you know that there is also a Floradix herbal tea range? We're already big fans of CBD/hemp tea for getting a little extra boost of CBD alongside your usual intake, and we also like drinking tea for general wellbeing. The Floradix range of herbal teas use herbs cultivated without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers, so it's a totally natural product.

Overall we're super impressed with the Floradix product range and how much care they put into their products.

The ingredients list on the back of the Floradix box is great, look how much they've packed into each bottle!

What are the Floradix reviews like?

Floradix have one of the best known Iron supplements out there, so it'll be no surprise to learn that they're pretty highly rated across the board. For example, their rating on Holland and Barrett at the moment is 4.7 out of 5 from over 190 reviews, a great rating. Overall reviewers seem to be really impressed with the product, especially people who were using the iron supplement for fatigue. What's also impressive is that reviewers actually seem pretty happy with the taste too, which is surprising for a health supplement. Overall this is very impressive.

In Conclusion

We don't often review health supplements on our blog, but we had a reader message us about Floradix so we decided to review the brand, and we've been super pleased with what we've discovered. Definitely check them out!
