Flora Fusion CBD has been in business since 2016 and are one of the longest running CBD companies in Scotland. Those of us who have been following the company since the very beginning have seen them go from a little crew of 3 to a Scottish CBD powerhouse with a fleet of loyal customers and national celebrities/ sports stars.
Before even thinking about buying either the Flora Fusion Bio or Pro, you should out our list of the best CBD Oil Products from the UK (<— this is our list of the best we have tried)
In summary, Flora Fusion are a robust and quality brand of CBD products. Currently, they are one of the best rated Scottish CBD company's on Trustpilot.
Personally, we love the Bio water soluble CBD which is easy drinking and effective- it is a unique clever blend and is extremely popular. In saying that, after speaking to a lot of people, they comment that the products are overpriced. For instance, you can get a 500mg oil for the same/lesser price as the 400mg products at £31, or a 1000mg (10gs) CBD paste for £48.99 compared to 5g with 825mg of CBD for £70.
The Flora Fusion bio is certainly worth it, but for most consumers, it is confusing as to why one product is so significantly more expensive than other brands with similar products.
The industry is moving so quickly so you can get much more for less these days.
The heart is in the right place, the ethics are sound and are up to now worthy of being recognized as one of the best pioneering CBD companies from Scotland.
Who is Flora Fusion?
The company have come through a couple of generations of growth. Before Flora Fusion, each of the individual founding members were pioneers in the CBD industry and created their own products to help family and friends. In 2016, the project of passion developed into the brand we know today; the mission was to sell quality, ethical and sustainable CBD products which would benefit the community around them. I have heard stories of the company being set up with only £30. They are an example of a business that started with little more than whole lot of passion and love for what they are doing. It is these humble backgrounds which clearly influences the business direction, ethos and product production.
As of 2019, there are only two directors (one of which left in early 2018) and a team of other sales, and office staff. Flora rebranded in early 2019 and has largely maintained the glowing reviews which has made them so popular.
What are the Flora Fusion products like?
Flora Fusion CBD Oils
From a range of two, there are now 4 CBD oils (for humans) which are available. Each catering to personal preferences, different ingredients and caters to a wide price range. In summary, each of the oils are great quality and are very popular. A personal favorite is the bio-active CBD which is water soluble. It is full - spectrum and is combined with activated curcumin.
As a negative, it is said a lot by many people we have spoken to that the oils are expensive for what they are. A 10ml with 400mg of CBD in their Hemp Oil will set you back £31... which is quite a pinch. On average, the price for a 500mg bottle of Organic & Lab Tested CBD Hemp oil is between £28.99 and £35. The price isn't too much more than the competition but it is enough to put customers off.
Hemp+ CBD Oil
The flagship oil is a UK produced product made from organic hemp seed oil. It comes in 10mls (400mgs) and 30mls (1200mgs) and ranges from £30 to £85. It is a clean tasting oil which is packed with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and is very versatile- you can consume it, put it on your skin or in your hair.
Flora Fusion Bio (10ml & 20ml)
The bioactive is by far the most popular according to the reviews and from the people we have spoken to. This product makes the consumption of CBD very easy and is carefully crafted to enhance all of the cannabinoids (Curcumin, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene, Limonene, Linalool, CBD, CBC, CBN and CBG). from £40 for 10mls (400mg) to £75 for 20ml (800mg)
Flora Fusion Pro
MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil is produced from medium chain fatty acids and is known for being an extremely effective delivery system for CBD and also for having its own numerous health and well-being benefits. This oil has been seemingly popular with the professional athletes who swear by the FF products. £40 is what this priced at.
Daily Full Spectrum
One of the main criticisms made about Flora Fusion was that their products are expensive. In the last couple of months, the company brought out a new oil which is more of a value option sitting at (£35). Although the price is lower, the quality is still exceptional and it is a full spectrum product that is raw and unrefined. This 'budget oil' is the same as a couple of 'premium oils' sold in the UK. Personally, I love this oil and comes a close second to the Bioactive. It has all the goodness you need and doesn't taste bad at all.
Other Products
Other products that are on offer include CBD Paste (£75) & Isolate (£40).
What are the Flora Fusion third-party reviews like?
Flora Fusion has a very high approval rate of 98% on Trustpilot. (Click the link to see their reviews) and have a myriad of reviews on Google & Facebook which, for a medium-sized company, are overwhelmingly positive- with one or two mentioning the price or something else! Not only is the company popular with its customers, but at one time they had support from local UFC fighters and celebrities.
In Conclusion
As you can tell - we are fans of Flora Fusion. Although on the pricey side the products are very highly rated and have been endorsed by celebrities and sports stars.
