CBDfx review

Updated November 2nd, 2021

If you haven't heard of CBDfx, once you see them you'll see them anywhere (even saw them on a trip to South Africa). These guys are potentially the biggest brand that we have covered on the Bible and are usually found when exploring your local hemp, head or corner shop. For whatever reason, CBDfx is sold everywhere!

With such a huge wingspan, we are going to have a deeper look into the company, analyse their CBD oil and see whether it is worth your time or money. So without further ado here is our CBDfx Review.

Before even thinking about buying from CBDfx, you should check out our list of the best CBD Oil (<— this is our list of the best we have tried). We have also reviewed Provacan, CBD Brothers, HempuraBlessed CBDAccess CBD & Holland and Barrett / Jacob Hooy.

Who are CBDfx?

CBDfx is, in fact, the third-largest privately held CBD company in the world with over 100 employees. The company are seemingly from the US - or at least the hemp to produce the oils are from the San Fernando Valley. The company was launched in 2014 by Ali Esmaili and Jameson Rodgers who have grown the business to a worldwide CBD-supergiant.

CBDfx offer over 50 CBD products from CBD oils, edibles, cosmetics (including bath bombs and face-masks) and vape oils. They are among the most identifiable out there and seem to be exceedingly popular with wholesalers and retailers. What does set the company apart is their branding and the range of unique CBD products that are certainly eye-catching. We like to focus on CBD oils but it is quite hard to do so when there are so many CBD goodies to explore. The company have set themselves a mission: to set an industry benchmark of quality and purity through research and product development. They produce a range of full-spectrum, broad-spectrum and isolated CBD products.

We will be discussing the CBDfx CBD oil range but we will also have a look at some of the other products that we are quite interested in.

What are the CBDfx products like?

In short, it does seem that the CBDfx CBD oil isn't what you should go for.

One of the biggest issues we have in the CBD industry is the misclassification of what the oil is. While CBDfx says their 500mg CBD oil is 'Broad-Spectrum' we can see that the most recent two batch lab reports published on the website show that the oil is produced using isolated CBD. Only CBD is detectable (CBC is the only other cannabinoid featured on the third of the three we can see). Isolated CBD is often considered as the lowest rung of quality in terms of CBD and has not officially been recognised as a viable edible substance by the FSA and the Cannabis Trades Association.

As the Novel Food application process is still underway, we will see whether or not these products will be banned in the UK in the coming years.

This trend seems to be the same across the other strengths. We can also see that CBDfx has launched a CBD/CBG 2:1 combo which is becoming a very popular product indeed. We can't see a lab report for this product yet but we are excited to see what they offer.

Other than the oil - we like the look of some of the other products that the company are producing. We love the fact that they are combining other healthy ingredients with CBD such as the gummies. We can see a range of CBD infused gummies which also contain ingredients such as Spirulina, Biotin and Apple Cider Vinegar. This is really inventive and could be great for those who do not want to take a whole shelf of food supplements.

CBDfx also offers a whole range of CBD vape products - including vape pens, kits and CBD infused vape oil. They have a great selection of flavours.

CBDfx Original Gummies

Possibly the most popular product within the CBDfx product range is their CBD gummies, which are found all over Amazon here in the UK. They're pretty well-rated and we have reviewed them in detail on our page about CBD gummies on Amazon. If you're new to CBD gummies then going for CBDfx might not be such a bad idea.

CBDfx Hair Support Gummies

We bought these CBDfx Hair Support gummies from Boots when they were on offer and we were pretty impressed. Each jar contains 1500mg of broad spectrum CBD (60 gummies) and Biotin. The taste was very similar to the other gummies from the range that we tried, not delicious but vegan and not horrible by any means. Our main criticism would be the price - even on offer, we paid £50 for these which seemed like a lot of money.

What are the CBDfx third-party reviews like?

CBDfx Trustpilot reviews

We tired to look for as many reviews as we could find for CBDfx UK but they are actually fairly hard to find. We found a trustpilot profile which only has a handful of reviews not a great rating. It seemed as though the review was from a wholesaler who had a issue with a shipment.

We also checked out reddit. There are thousands of people talking about this company and a great majority of people say that they are reliable and trustworthy.

In Conclusion - final thoughts

CBDfx are a really interesting company. They offer such a cool range of products that it is hard to look away. Their branding is great, their products are inventive, they have so many interesting CBD alternatives and a range of CBD infused multivitamins.

The only thing we would pull the company up on is the fact that their CBD oil uses an isolated CBD formula. While this is not completely a bad thing, we are much more interested in broad and full spectrum products which contain other natural ingredients from the plants.
